How to Play Save The Kingdom

Save the Kingdom is a castle defence game where the castles themselves are what you place. Wizards, ghosts, demons and a long list of other monsters come for your kingdom, and your response is to drag new castles into the positions where they will do the most work.

The economy is built to keep you spending. Every monster destroyed earns points, and those points build new castles — so a wave you survive well directly funds the defence for the one after it. Alongside that sit four general skills and the castles themselves, all upgradeable, which gives you two competing places to put your money.

The game frames becoming invincible as a matter of saving up and completing every upgrade, and across 50 levels that is genuinely how it works. Early levels are cheap to clear and are where a defence gets funded; the later ones are where an under-invested kingdom finds out about it. Placement stays the decision that ties it together, because a castle in the wrong position is money spent on nothing.
